Provided are a wireless base station and mobile station with which it is possible to avoid an increase in C-Plane load, and reduce handover delay, even if there is a change in the type of PDCP-SN used in the cell after handover. The wireless base station (eNB#1) according to the present invention is equipped with a transmission unit (11) which is constituted in such a manner that if the mobile station UE performs a handover from cell #1 to cell #11 (or if performing a handover from cell #11 to cell #1), the mobile station UE is notified that the length of the PDCP-SN used in communications within the cell #11 (or cell #1) will change.

L'invention concerne une station de base sans fil et une station mobile avec lesquelles il est possible d'éviter une augmentation de charge dans le plan C, et de réduire le retard de transfert intercellulaire, y compris en cas de un changement dans le type de PDCP-SN utilisé dans la cellule après transfert intercellulaire. La station de base sans fil (eNB#1) selon la présente invention est équipée d'une unité de transmission (11) qui est conçue de façon que si la station mobile UE effectue un transfert intercellulaire d'une cellule # 1 à une cellule # 11 (ou si elle effectue un transfert intercellulaire d'une cellule # 11 à une cellule # 1), la station mobile UE est informée que la longueur du PDCP-SN utilisé dans des communications à l'intérieur de la cellule # 11 (ou de la cellule # 1) va changer.

ハンドオーバ後のセルで用いるPDCP-SNの種類を変更した場合であっても、C-Planeの負荷の増加を回避しつつ、ハンドオーバ遅延を低減することができる無線基地局及び移動局。本発明に係る無線基地局eNB#1は、移動局UEが、セル#1からセル#11にハンドオーバする場合(或いは、セル#11からセル#1にハンドオーバする場合)に、移動局UEに対して、セル#11(或いは、セル#1)内の通信に用いるPDCP-SNの長さが変更になることを通知するように構成されている送信部11を具備する。
