The invention refers to technologies for concentrating solar energy and, more specifically, to a sandwich type facet for heliostats which has a front reflective layer made of glass, said front layer being suitable for reflecting sunlight, and a rear supporting layer whose structure and construction materials present a product of their Young's modulus (E) times their inertia in at least one axis (lxx, yy) which is substantially equal to those of the front reflective layer, so: Efront layer ⋅|XX(YY)front layer = Erear layer ⋅|XX(YY)rear layer and wherein additionally, the thermal expansion coefficient of both the front and rear layers is substantially equal, so: CTfront layer = CTrear layer.

La présente invention concerne des technologies permettant de concentrer l'énergie solaire et, plus particulièrement, une facette de type sandwich destinée à des héliostats possédant une couche avant réfléchissante en verre, ladite couche avant étant appropriée pour réfléchir la lumière solaire, et une couche arrière de support dont la structure et les matériaux de construction présentent un produit de leur module d'élasticité de Young (E) multiplié par leur inertie dans au moins un axe (lxx, yy) qui est pratiquement égal au produit de ceux de la couche avant réfléchissante, de sorte que : Ecouche avant ⋅|XX(YY)couche avant = Ecouche arrière ⋅|XX(YY)couche arrière, le coefficient de dilatation thermique de la couche avant et de la couche arrière étant, en outre, pratiquement égaux, de sorte que : CTcouche avant = CTcouche arrière.
