To provide: a fully organic dye compound for use in an excellent dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element; and a photoelectric conversion element which uses the fully organic dye compound. A fully organic dye compound for use in a dye-sensitized photoelectric conversion element, which is represented by formula (1) X-U-Z (wherein X represents a donor moiety, U represents a π-electron conjugated moiety, and Z represents an acceptor moiety), and wherein the donor moiety X is a group represented by formula (AA) or (BB) and having a non-planar structure. (In formulae (AA) and (BB), n is 1 or 2; m is 1, 2, 3 or 4; and the above-mentioned group may have at least one atom or group selected from among F, Br, a linear or branched C1-C12 alkyl group and a linear or branched C1-C3 alkoxy group in place of H on the bicyclo ring.)

L'invention concerne un composé colorant totalement organique destiné à être utilisé dans un excellent élément de conversion photoélectrique sensibilisé par un colorant ; et un élément de conversion photoélectrique qui utilise le composé colorant totalement organique. L'invention concerne également un composé colorant totalement organique destiné à être utilisé dans un élément de conversion photoélectrique sensibilisé par un colorant, qui est représenté par la formule (1) X-U-Z (dans laquelle X représente une fraction donneuse, U représente une fraction conjuguée à électrons π et Z représente une fraction acceptrice), et dans laquelle la fraction donneuse X est un composé représenté par la formule (AA) ou (BB) et ayant une structure non plane.
