There is provided an electronic gain shaper for open loop adaptive optimising of broadband microwave circuits, the gain shaper comprising operating parameter selection means [100] adapted for providing one or more operating parameters; and a lossy tuning element operably coupled to the operating parameter selection means, wherein, in use, the gain shaper is adapted for receiving an operating mode; retrieving an operating parameter from the operating parameter selection means [100] in accordance with the operating mode; and configuring the lossy tuning element in accordance with the operating parameter.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de mise en forme de gain électronique pour l'optimisation adaptative à boucle ouverte de circuits à micro-ondes à large bande, le dispositif de mise en forme de gain comprenant des moyens de sélection de paramètre de fonctionnement [100] conçus pour un ou plusieurs paramètres de fonctionnement ; et un élément de réglage avec perte couplé de manière fonctionnelle aux moyens de sélection de paramètres de fonctionnement, lors de l'utilisation, le dispositif de mise en forme de gain étant conçu pour recevoir un mode de fonctionnement ; récupérer un paramètre de fonctionnement à partir des moyens de sélection de paramètres de fonctionnement [100] en fonction du mode de fonctionnement ; et configurer l'élément de réglage avec perte en fonction du paramètre de fonctionnement.
