(EN) The present invention reduces quantized noise occurring when encoding a transmission signal obtained by matrix transforming the source signal of a multi-channel sound system. The multi-channel sound system according to the present invention is provided with a transmitting device (1) and a receiving device (2) adapted to the multi-channel sound system. The transmitting device (1) finds model parameters by converting a quantized noise signal, which is the difference between the source signal and the restoration signal, into a model as a function of the restoration signal, and transmits the encoded signal and the model parameters to the receiving device (2). The receiving device (2) estimates, on the basis of the model parameters, the quantized noise signal by converting the quantized noise signal into a model as a function of the restoration signal, and removes the estimated quantized noise signal from the restoration signal.
(FR) La présente invention permet de réduire le bruit quantifié se survenant lors du codage d'un signal de transmission obtenu par transformation matricielle du signal source d'un système sonore canal. Le système sonore multicanal selon la présente invention comprend un dispositif de transmission (1) et un dispositif de réception (2) adaptés audit système. Le dispositif de transmission (1) recherche des paramètres de modèle en convertissant un signal de bruit quantifié, qui représente la différence entre le signal source et le signal de restauration, en un modèle faisant fonction de signal de restauration, et transmet le signal codé et les paramètres de modèle au dispositif de réception (2).
