Abstract:
Provided are a stator core for a motor and a manufacturing method therefor that make it possible to achieve zero compressive stress or reduced compressive stress so as to further improve magnetic properties. In the stator core (1) for a motor, an annular yoke section (3) and the outer peripheral edge of the yoke section (3), said outer peripheral edge comprising teeth sections (5) that protrude inward in the radial direction on the inner periphery of the yoke section (3), are attached to the inner periphery of an annular member (7). The stator core (1) for a motor is characterized in that: the yoke section (3) has an elastic deformation section (E) comprising an insertion section (9) that is shaped so as to face outward in the radial direction of the outer peripheral edge, and a bent section (11) that receives pressing force inward in the radial direction from the annular member (7) and bends so as to be deformed toward the insertion section (9) side and frictionally engage the inner peripheral surface of the annular member (7); and in that prior to mounting of the yoke section (3) to the annular member (7), the tip side (11a) of the bent section (11) protrudes outward in the radial direction from the insertion section (9), and the bent section (11) is bent toward the insertion section (9) side and deformed by the mounting of the yoke section (3) to the annular member (7) so as to frictionally engage with the inner peripheral surface (7a) of the annular member (7).
