(EN)An apparatus and a method to dissipate heat generated in an LED mounted lighting fixture (100,200,300,400,500), comprising an active heat sink (106,202,301,406) with a plurality of integral vents (104,201,302,402, 501) into such active heat sink, wherein the plurality of vents have only two openings, a first opening and a second opening, wherein the active sink (106,202,301,406) is characterized by an induced local air convection current, induced by heat generated at an LED junction in the LED mounted lighting fixture (100,200,300,400,500).
(FR)L'invention concerne un appareil et un procédé permettant de dissiper la chaleur générée dans un dispositif d'éclairage à DEL (100,200,300,400,500), l'appareil comprenant un dissipateur thermique actif (106,202,301,406) pourvu d'une pluralité d'évents intégrés (104,201,302,402, 501) dans un tel dissipateur thermique actif, la pluralité d'évents comportant ou moins deux orifices, un premier et un second orifice, le dissipateur actif (106,202,301,406) étant caractérisé par un courant induit de convection d'air local, ledit courant étant induit par la chaleur générée au niveau d'une jonction de DEL dans le dispositif d'éclairage à DEL (100,200,300,400,500).
