Abstract:
Device (10; 110) for closing a door (D) of a houshold appliance (W), in particular a dishwasher, said device (10; 110) comprising an engagement element (11; 111), which is fitted on the casing (C) of the household appliance (W) and is adapted to be held in a releasable manner by a retaining element (16), which is fitted on the door (D) of the household appliance (W). The engagement element (11; 111) comprising: a support body (12), which is fitted on the casing (C); a catch (14), which is adapted to be coupled in a releasable manner to the retaining element (16), and is mounted so as to move, with respect to the support body (12), between a retracted position, in which the catch (14) is coupled to the retaining element (16) and the door (D) is in a complete closing condition and an extracted position, in which the catch (14) is coupled to the retaining element (16) and the door (D) is in a pre-opening condition, so as to establish a fluid communication between the inner chamber (WT) and the outside; a stop mechanism (18), which is tending to move from a release condition, in which it (18) is adapted to set the catch (14) free, thus allowing it to move from the retracted position to the extracted position, to a locking position, in which it (18) is able to hold the catch (14) in the retracted position; and an electrically-operated actuator system (20), which is adapted to control the passage of said stop mechanism (18) from the locking position to the release position, when it is excited by a passage of electric current.
