Abstract:
(EN) The present invention in general relates to the field of Trypanosoma brucei infections. In particular, this invention relates to the in vitro detection of anti-Trypanosoma brucei antibodies in a sample, making use of a combination of Trypanosoma brucei variant surface glycoproteins-derived peptides. The invention further provides in vitro methods for diagnosing Trypanosoma brucei infections, making use of the combinations according to this invention.
(FR) La présente invention concerne en général le domaine des infections par Trypanosoma brucei. En particulier, cette invention concerne la détection in vitro d'anticorps anti-Trypanosoma brucei dans un échantillon, par l'utilisation d'une combinaison de peptides issus de variants de glycoprotéines de surface de Trypanosoma brucei. L'invention concerne en outre des méthodes in vitro pour le diagnostic d'infections par Trypanosoma brucei, par l'utilisation des combinaisons selon cette invention.
