Title: METHOD FOR REMOVING ACID GASES FROM FLUIDS CONTAINING HYDROCARBONS
Abstract:
In a method for removing acid gases from fluids containing hydrocarbons, (a) an acid gas flow rich in carbon dioxide is removed from the fluid by means of scrubbing with a liquid absorbent, (b) the fluid is brought in contact with a solid absorbent in order to remove acid gases containing sulfur, and (c) the loaded solid absorbent is regenerated by means of contact with at least one rinsing gas under regeneration conditions. An acid gas flow rich in carbon dioxide removed in step (a) is used as a rinsing gas.
