The invention relates to a weapon for war games, principally for paintball games, and specifically to special cartridges using a staining liquid. The special cartridge comprises a case (1) with a propellant charge (2) disposed therein, an element to be discharged (3) and an ignition charge (4). A rigidly fixed nozzle (5) (variants 1 and 3) for supplying some of a gas flow to the element to be discharged (3) or a solid partition (7) (variant 2) is arranged inside the case (1). Openings (6) for directing the gas flow (variants 1-3) are formed in the cylindrical body of the case (1) on the ignition charge (4) side and, moreover, openings (8) for directing the gas flow (variants 2 and 3) are also formed in the muzzle part of the case. The areas of the openings in the nozzle (5) and the total surface areas of the openings (6) and (8) have a different value. In order to implement the firing process, the ignition charge (4) is acted upon so as to ignite the propellant charge (2), the greater part of the gas flow which forms on combustion of the propellant charge (2) is directed through the openings (6) into the channel of the gun barrel, thereby creating the basic firing effect (noise, flash). The lesser part of the gas flow which forms as a result of the combustion of the propellant charge (2) is directed to the element to be discharged (3) and imparts the necessary acceleration to said element to be discharged while maintaining the integrity of the shape and volume thereof. The element to be discharged (3) is designed to leave an impression, for which a pellet can be used which is identical to that used in a game of paintball. Moreover, the element to be discharged (3) is in the form of a container which may contain any filler, for example an antiseptic.
