Abstract:
(EN) A method and apparatus for modifying resource usage by a computing system (100) including a first environment (120) and a second environment (130) is disclosed. A status signal is received (505), and applications executed by the first environment (120) and by the second environment (130) are monitored (510). The status signal may indicate whether the computing system (100) is coupled to an external device. It is determined (515) whether a first application is executed by the first environment (120) and by the second environment (130). Responsive to determining the first application is executed by the first environment (120) and by the second environment (130), an amount of resources allocated to the first application by each of the environments (120, 130) is calculated (520). Based on the first amount of resources allocated by the different environments (120, 130), execution of the first application by the first environment (120) or by the second environment (130) is halted (525).
(FR) La présente invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de modification d'usage de ressources par un système informatique (100) comprenant un premier environnement (120) et un second environnement (130). Selon l'invention, un signal d'état est reçu (505), et des applications exécutées par le premier environnement (120) et par le second environnement (130) sont surveillées (510). Le signal d'état peut indiquer si le système informatique (100) est couplé à un dispositif externe.
