(EN)A method for video decoding comprises: acquiring, from a bit stream, a syntax for determining the initial value of quantization parameter used in inverse quantization of encoding units comprised in a slice segment; acquiring, on the basis of the acquired syntax, an initial slice-level quantization parameter for quantization parameter prediction used for inverse quantization of encoding units comprised in the slice segment; and acquiring, by using the initial slice-level quantization parameter, a quantization prediction value of the first quantization group of the data unit, which can be processed in parallel, comprised in the slice segment.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un procédé de décodage vidéo comprenant : l'acquisition, à partir d'un train de bits, d'une syntaxe destinée à déterminer la valeur initiale d'un paramètre de quantification utilisé dans une quantification inverse d'unités de codage comprises dans un segment de tranche ; l'acquisition, sur la base de la syntaxe acquise, d'un paramètre de quantification de niveau de tranche initiale destiné à prédire un paramètre de quantification utilisé pour une quantification inverse d'unités de codage comprises dans le segment de tranche ; et à l'acquisition, par l'utilisation du paramètre de quantification de niveau de tranche initiale, d'une valeur de prédiction de quantification du premier groupe de quantification de l'unité de données, qui peut être traitée en parallèle, comprise dans le segment de tranche.
