Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a method by which high-quality recycled aggregate is manufactured using concrete waste as a raw material. [Solution] The invention comprises a crushing step, a first classification step, a grinding step, a second classification step, and a reprocessing step. In said crushing step, the raw material, which comprises concrete waste, is crushed. In said first classification step, the crushed raw material is classified into: a small-diameter component of less than a first reference particle diameter; and a large-diameter component of more than the first reference particle diameter. In said grinding step: said large-diameter component and said small-diameter component are provided to a grinder not having a grinding medium, said components being provided in a ratio wherein the volume of the large-diameter component is at least the volume of the small-diameter component; and said components are rubbed together in the grinder. In said second classification step, the large-diameter component and the small-diameter component that were ground in the grinding step are classified into: a small-diameter component of less than a second reference particle diameter smaller than the first reference particle diameter; and a large-diameter component of more than the second reference particle diameter. In said reprocessing step: both the large-diameter component and the small-diameter component, said components having been classified in the second classification step, are provided to the grinder; and the grinding step and the second classification step are performed. After the reprocessing step has been performed at least once, the large-diameter component and the small-diameter component that were classified in the second classification step in the last reprocessing step are collected as recycled aggregate.
