Abstract:
(EN) Flameproof fibres based on cross-linked polyacrylate which can be obtained by cross- linking acrylic fibre which has optionally been previously dyed, alkaline hydrolysis of the cross-linked fibre, acid treatment of the fibre subjected to hydrolysis and optionally salification with a metal salt, characterised in that it comprises nanofillers or nanoparticles (having at least one nanometric dimension (<100 nm)) of the lamellar, channel-shaped/tubular, needle-shaped or spherulitic/globular type or their mixtures incorporated in the fibre. In particular, among the natural or organically modified lamellar nanofillers use may be made of silicates and phyllosilicates, hectorites and fluorohectorites, saponites, hydrotalcites (aluminium and magnesium hydroxides), saponites, mica, phosphates (including in particular zirconium phosphate), boehmites and graphites. Channel-shaped/tubular or needle-shaped nanofillers comprise in particular nanotubes and nanofibres of carbon, halloysite (aluminium silicate nanotubes) and sepiolites, Nanoparticles of the spherical type having three nanometric dimensions such as silica and metal oxides (for example titania) and POSS (Polyhedral Oligomeric Silsesquioxanes) may also be used.
(FR) L'invention porte sur des fibres ignifugées à base de polyacrylate réticulé qui peuvent être obtenues par réticulation de fibre acrylique qui a été éventuellement préalablement teinte, hydrolyse alcaline de la fibre réticulée, traitement acide de la fibre soumise à l'hydrolyse et éventuellement salification à l'aide d'un sel métallique, caractérisées en ce que la fibre comprend des nanocharges ou nanoparticules (ayant au moins une dimension nanométrique (< 100 nm)) de type lamellaire, en forme de canal/tubulaire, aciculaire ou sphérulitique/globulaire ou leurs mélanges incorporées dans celle-ci. En particulier, parmi les nanocharges lamellaires naturelles ou modifiées de façon organique, on peut utiliser les silicates et phyllosilicates, les hectorites et hectorites fluorées, les saponites, les hydrotalcites (hydroxydes d'aluminium et de magnésium), les saponites, le mica, les phosphates (notamment en particulier le phosphate de zirconium), les bœhmites et les graphites. Les nanocharges en forme de canal/tubulaires ou aciculaires comprennent en particulier les nanotubes et nanofibres de carbone, l'halloysite (nanotubes de silicate d'aluminium) et les sépiolites. Des nanoparticules de type sphérique ayant trois dimensions nanométriques telles que la silice, des oxydes métalliques (par exemple le dioxyde de titane) et des POSS (oligomères polyédriques de silsesquioxanes) peuvent également être utilisées.
