Title: METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SELECTING TRANSMISSION FORMAT
Abstract:
A method and a device for selecting a transmission format relate to the field of communications, and can determine a transmission format of a main stream and an auxiliary stream according to maximum transmit power of a user equipment and a channel quality difference between the main stream and the auxiliary stream, thereby guaranteeing the data transmission quality. The method comprises: receiving a user equipment transmission format parameter sent by a base station, the user equipment transmission format parameter comprising a main stream authorized value and an association between a main stream and an auxiliary stream (101); determining a maximum transmission block length of the main stream according to the pre-configured maximum transmit power of the user equipment and the association between the main stream and the auxiliary stream (102); determining an actual transmission block length of the main stream according to a relationship of size between a theoretical transmission block length of the main stream and the maximum transmission block length, the theoretical transmission block length of the main stream being determined by a block length of scheduling authorization data and/or block length of non-scheduling authorization data transmitted by the main stream, and the block length of the scheduling authorization data being determined by the main stream authorized value (103); and determining a transmission block length of the auxiliary stream according to the actual transmission block length of the main stream and the association between the main stream and the auxiliary stream (104). Embodiments of the present invention are mainly applied in a selection process of a transmission format for uplink data of a user equipment in a multi-antenna system.
