Abstract:
(EN) A method of forming a photovoltaic (PV) cell module comprises the step of applying a first polymeric composition around a periphery of i) a front face of a substrate and/or ii) a rear face of a cover sheet to form a peripheral tie-layer on the face(s). The method further comprises the step of applying a second polymeric composition, different than the first polymeric composition, to ii) the rear face of the cover sheet to form an inner tie-layer. The method further comprises the step of disposing a PV cell on the inner tie-layer formed from the application of the second polymeric composition. The method further comprises the step of combining the substrate and the cover sheet to form the PV cell module such that the peripheral tie-layer and the inner tie-layer are sandwiched between the substrate and the cover sheet with the PV cell encapsulated by the inner tie-layer.
(FR) La présente invention a trait à un procédé permettant de former un module de cellule photovoltaïque, lequel procédé comprend une étape consistant à appliquer une première composition polymère autour de la périphérie i) d'une face avant d'un substrat et/ou ii) d'une face arrière d'une feuille de protection en vue de former une couche de liaison périphérique sur la ou les faces. Le procédé comprend en outre une étape consistant à appliquer une seconde composition polymère, différente de la première composition polymère, sur ii) la face arrière de la feuille de protection en vue de former une couche de liaison intérieure. Le procédé comprend en outre une étape consistant à disposer une cellule photovoltaïque sur la couche de liaison intérieure qui est formée à partir de l'application de la seconde composition polymère. Le procédé comprend en outre une étape consistant à combiner le substrat et la feuille de protection en vue de former le module de cellule photovoltaïque de sorte que la couche de liaison périphérique et la couche de liaison intérieure soient prises en sandwich entre le substrat et la feuille de protection, la cellule photovoltaïque étant encapsulée par la couche de liaison intérieure.
