Abstract:
(EN) Provided is a fuel cell, comprising: a membrane-electrode assembly (M) further comprising a catalytic layer (6) on both sides of an electrolyte membrane (1) and having three or more porous body layers on the surface side thereof; a frame body (4) which encloses the outer circumference of the electrolyte membrane (1); and a separator (5) which forms gas channels (G) together with the membrane-electrode assembly (M). Of the three porous body layers, a first porous body (11) adjacent to the separator (5) and a second porous body (12) adjacent to the first porous part (11) have extended parts (11A, 12A) disposed on the respective outer edge parts thereof, and the extended parts (11A, 12A) are inserted between the frame body (4) and the separator (5). Thus, excess surface pressure is prevented from being exerted between the extended part (11A) of the first porous body (11) and the frame body (4), and the surface pressure which is applied to the power generation region of the membrane-electrode assembly (M) (the region in which the catalytic layer (6) is formed) is made appropriate.
(FR) L'invention concerne une pile à combustible comprenant un ensemble membrane-électrode (M), un corps de châssis (4), et un séparateur (5). L'ensemble membrane-électrode (M), qui comprend en ce qui le concerne une couche catalytique (6) située des deux côtés d'une membrane d'électrolyte (1), comporte sur son côté superficiel au moins trois épaisseurs faites de corps poreux. Le corps de châssis (4) renferme le périmètre extérieur de la membrane d'électrolyte (1). Le séparateur (5) coopère avec l'ensemble membrane-électrode (M) pour former des canaux de gaz (G). Parmi les trois épaisseurs en corps poreux, un premier corps poreux (11) jouxtant le séparateur (5) et un deuxième corps poreux (12) jouxtant la première partie poreuse (11) comportent des extensions (11A, 12A), qui sont disposées sur leurs rebords extérieurs respectifs, et qui s'insèrent entre le corps de châssis (4) et le séparateur (5). L'invention évite ainsi la survenue d'une pression de surface excessive entre l'extension (11A) du premier corps poreux (11) et le corps de châssis (4), et permet de disposer d'une pression de surface appropriée s'appliquant à la région de génération d'électricité de l'ensemble membrane-électrode (M), c'est-à-dire à la région dans laquelle est constituée la couche catalytique (6).
