(EN)The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for detecting the translocation between KIF5B gene and RET gene. A fluorescence in situ hybridization assay is carried out using a probe set that is so designed as to generate a fluorescence pattern reflecting the occurrence of the translocation between KIF5B gene and RET gene.
