Abstract: 
Hybrid elastic cable comprising at least one elastic wire (1) and at least one resistant wire (2), the elastic wire (1), at a maximum degree of elongation of the cable, encircles the resistant wire (2) in a helix with a specific number of turns per linear metre of the cable, this number of turns ranging between nsE 15% and nsE +15%, nsE being determined from the following formula: formula (I), in which φe is the diameter in mm of the elastic wire (1) at rest, φK is the diameter in mm of the resistant wire (2) and Kmax is the preset maximum degree of elongation of the hybrid cable, the elastic wire (1) furthermore being twisted over itself with a specific number of distinct turns per linear metre of the cable, this number of distinct turns ranging between nsE and 3×nsE, the distinct turns in the wire (1) of the first type being wound in the opposite direction to the turns of said helix.
