The invention relates to a method for producing the vehicle floor (1) of a mine-protected vehicle, wherein the vehicle floor (1) consists of a plurality of individual sheets (11-17) of armour steel connected to one another. The invention further relates to a vehicle floor (1) produced according to the method of the invention. In order to easily prevent the vehicle floor (1) from being torn open in the area of weld seams in the event of a mine explosion, the invention proposes the use of tailored blanks (10) made of armour steel, from which the contour of the respective vehicle floor (1) can then be produced by cold or hot forming. Normalised individual sheets (11-17) of appropriate wall thicknesses, which are connected to one another by means of laser beam welding, are used to produce the tailored blanks (10). These tailored blanks (10) are hardened and tempered only after the welding process and the final vehicle floor (1) is then produced by forming.
