Abstract
(EN) A system and method for fluorescence imaging of tissue in vivo and in situ, e.g., for minimally invasive diagnosis of patients. A fluorescent imaging system is provided that has a dye carrier coupled to the distal end of a probe containing a fiber optics bundle, which allows for the introduction of at least one fluorescent dye therein the dye carrier into a portion of the tissue of interest of a subject or patient when the dye carrier is selectively brought into contact with the portion of the tissue of interest. The resulting fluorescence images permit the acquisition of diagnostic information on the progression of diseases at cellular/tissue level in patients.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système et un procédé destinés à l'imagerie par fluorescence de tissus in vivo et in situ, par ex. pour un diagnostic de patients le moins invasif possible. Un système d'imagerie par fluorescence est proposé. Il comporte un véhiculeur de teinture, couplé à l'extrémité distale d'une sonde contenant un faisceau de fibres optiques, qui permet l'introduction d'au moins une teinture fluorescente à l'intérieur du véhiculeur de teinture, dans une partie du tissu visé du sujet ou du patient, lorsque le véhiculeur de teinture est amené en contact, de manière sélective, avec la partie du tissu d'intérêt. Les images par fluorescence résultantes permettent l'acquisition d'informations de diagnostic sur la progression des maladies au niveau cellulaire/tissulaire chez les patients.
