Abstract:
(EN) A method for locating a conductive object at a touch-sensing surface may include detecting a first resolved location for the conductive object at the touch-sensing surface based on a first scan of the touch-sensing surface, predicting a location for the conductive object, and determining a second resolved location for the conductive object by performing a second scan of a subset of sensor electrodes of the touch-sensing surface, wherein the subset of sensor electrodes is selected based on the predicted location of the conductive object.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de localisation d'un objet conducteur au niveau d'une surface tactile, lequel procédé peut consister à détecter un premier emplacement résolu pour l'objet conducteur au niveau de la surface tactile sur la base d'un premier balayage de la surface tactile, à prédire un emplacement pour l'objet conducteur, et à déterminer un second emplacement résolu pour l'objet conducteur par réalisation d'un second balayage d'un sous-ensemble d'électrodes de capteur de la surface tactile, le sous-ensemble d'électrodes de capteur étant sélectionné sur la base de l'emplacement prédit de l'objet conducteur.
