Abstract:
(EN) A system and method for measuring tissue motion within a living tissue of the anterior segment and aqueous outflow system of the eye in a subject are provided. Tissue movements are extracted from a plurality of images acquired from the living tissue using an optical coherence tomography system. The images may be corrected using motion compensation. To extract the tissue movements from the images, waves from a cardiac pulse or other externally induced pulses from the subject are acquired, and a pulse wave is defined for a given time, which is then correlated with a velocity wave defined for a velocity of tissue and/or fluid movement within the tissue region for the same given time. Pulsatile motion is then isolated in the tissue region from the plurality of images.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système et un procédé de mesure de mouvements tissulaires à l'intérieur d'un tissu vivant du segment antérieur et du système de drainage de l'humeur aqueuse de l'œil chez un sujet. Les mouvements tissulaires sont extraits d'une pluralité d'images du tissu vivant acquises en utilisant un système de tomographie à cohérence optique. Les images peuvent être corrigées en utilisant une compensation de mouvement. Pour extraire les mouvements tissulaires à partir des images, le système acquiert des ondes d'une pulsation cardiaque ou d'autres pulsations induites de l'extérieur chez le sujet et il définit une onde de pulsation d'une durée donnée qui est ensuite corrélée avec une onde de vitesse définie pour une vitesse du tissu et/ou pour un mouvement de fluide dans la région tissulaire pendant la même durée donnée. Un mouvement pulsatile est ensuite isolé dans la région tissulaire à partir de la pluralité d'images.
