Abstract
(EN) An optical sensor for the detecting the presence of a gas or liquid comprising: a light source, a substrate, an active layer configured to emit light when illuminated by the optical light source and a detector; wherein the substrate and light source are arranged such that the majority or all of the light from the light source is reflected and/or refracted away from the detector and the detector is arranged to receive part of the light emitted by the active layer.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un capteur optique destiné à détecter la présence d'un gaz ou d'un liquide comprenant : une source de lumière, un substrat, une couche active configurée pour émettre de la lumière lorsqu'elle est éclairée par la source optique de lumière et un détecteur. Le substrat et la source de lumière sont agencés de sorte que tout ou une majeure partie de la lumière provenant de la source de lumière soit réfléchie et/ou réfractée à l'écart du détecteur; et le détecteur est agencé pour recevoir une partie de la lumière émise par la couche active.
