Abstract
(EN) Technology for enabling device-to-device (D2D) communication in a wireless network is disclosed. One method comprises receiving a traffic flow optimization message at a first transmission node in the wireless network from a detection function (DF) module. A D2D setup message can be transmitted from the first transmission node to establish a D2D link, wherein the D2D link bypasses a serving gateway for the wireless network and provides communication between a first wireless device and a second wireless device.
(FR) L'invention porte sur une technologie servant à permettre une communication de dispositif à dispositif (D2D) dans un réseau sans fil. Un procédé consiste à recevoir un message d'optimisation de flux de trafic au niveau d'un premier nœud de transmission dans le réseau sans fil en provenance d'un module de fonction de détection (DF). Un message d'établissement D2D peut être transmis par le premier nœud de transmission afin d'établir une liaison D2D, la liaison D2D contournant une passerelle de desserte pour le réseau sans fil et permettant une communication entre le premier dispositif sans fil et un second dispositif sans fil.
