(EN)The disclosure provides cationic peptidopolysaccharides of Formula I: which has a bacterial peptidoglycan-mimetic structure, and shows outstanding broad spectrum activities against clinically significant bacteria and fungi. The structural affinity of these compounds with microbial cell wall constituents promotes its passage to the cytoplasmic membrane resulting in excellent antimicrobial activity and record high selectivity.
(FR)L'invention concerne des peptidopolysaccharides cationiques de formule (I), possédant une structure mimétique de peptidoglycane bactérien et présentant des activités à large spectre remarquables contre des champignons et des bactéries ayant une importance du point de vue clinique. L'affinité structurale de ces composés pour des constituants de la paroi des cellules microbiennes favorise le passage vers la membrane cytoplasmique, ce qui permet d'obtenir une excellente activité antimicrobienne et une sélectivité élevée record.
