Title (EN) GLASS ARTICLE WITH IMPROVED CHEMICAL RESISTANCE
(FR) ARTICLE EN VERRE PRÉSENTANT UNE RÉSISTANCE CHIMIQUE AMÉLIORÉE
Abstract: front page image
(EN)The invention relates to a glass article, the chemical resistance of which is elevated and improved in relation to known glass articles. In particular, the invention relates to an article of soda-lime-silica glass comprising at least one surface and a core zone having a substantially constant concentration of aluminium and having directly under said surface a concentration of aluminium dissolved in the glass measured by EELS at least 1.2 times higher than that of the core zone.
