(EN)A method of blocking or trapping allergens or allergen particles in the nasal cavity of a subject, comprising the steps of applying to the nasal cavity of the subject a nasal composition comprising microcrystalline cellulose; and sodium carboxymethylcellulose and its salt derivatives thereof, wherein the microcrystalline cellulose to sodium carboxymethylcellulose are present in a ratio of about 50:50 to about 99: 1, respectively, and wherein the nasal composition is substantially free of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
(FR)L'invention porte sur un procédé qui permet de bloquer ou de piéger des allergènes ou des particules allergéniques dans la cavité nasale d'un sujet, lequel procédé consiste à appliquer dans la cavité nasale du sujet une composition nasale renfermant une cellulose microcristalline et une carboxyméthylcellulose sodique et des dérivés de ses sels, la cellulose microcristalline et la carboxyméthylcellulose sodique étant présentes selon un rapport compris entre environ 50:50 et environ 99: 1, respectivement, et la composition nasale étant sensiblement dépourvue d'ingrédients pharmaceutiques actifs.
