Abstract
(EN) The invention provides a process for the synthesis of a polycarbonate, the process comprising the step of reacting carbon dioxide with at least one epoxide in the presence of a catalyst of formula (I) and a chain transfer agent. The invention also provides a polymerisation system for the copolymerisation of carbon dioxide and at least one epoxide comprising a catalyst of formula (I) and a chain transfer agent, polycarbonates produced by the inventive process, a block copolymer comprising a polycarbonate produced by the inventive process and a method of producing the same. The invention also relates to novel catalysts of formula (III).
(FR) L'invention porte sur un procédé pour la synthèse d'un polycarbonate, le procédé comprenant l'étape consistant à faire réagir du dioxyde de carbone avec au moins un époxyde en présence d'un catalyseur de formule (I) et d'un agent de transfert de chaîne. L'invention porte également sur un système de polymérisation pour la copolymérisation de dioxyde de carbone et d'au moins un époxyde, comprenant un catalyseur de formule (I) et un agent de transfert de chaîne, sur des polycarbonates produits par le procédé de l'invention, sur un copolymère séquencé comprenant un polycarbonate produit par le procédé de l'invention et sur son procédé de production. L'invention porte également sur de nouveaux catalyseurs de formule (III).
