Abstract

A cell culture article comprises a substrate having a micro-structured surface and a thin hydrophobic elastomeric coating disposed on the substrate. The coating forms a micro-structured cell culture surface and is sufficiently thin to reduce absorption of hydrophobic molecules from an aqueous medium in contact with the coating, relative to articles fabricated entirely from the hydrophobic elastomer.

L'invention concerne un article de culture cellulaire comprenant un substrat ayant une surface micro-structurée et un revêtement mince élastomère hydrophobe disposé sur le substrat. Le revêtement forme une surface micro-structurée de culture cellulaire et est suffisamment mince pour réduire l'absorption de molécules hydrophobes à partir d'un milieu aqueux en contact avec le revêtement, par rapport à des articles fabriqués entièrement à partir de l'élastomère hydrophobe.
