Methods for modifying the combustion method of an internal combustion engine in accordance with a driving state have been proposed, but the situation in which combustion noise occurs may vary in different combustion methods, and the accuracy of detecting combustion noise is low because conventional detection methods cannot differentiate between combustion methods. Combustion noise can be detected with good accuracy by ascertaining the combustion mode of the internal combustion engine, and selecting, on the basis of the combustion mode, the detection frequency or the detection frequency range of a combustion noise sensor for detecting combustion noise in the combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine to detect combustion noise.

L'invention concerne le bruit des moteurs à combustion interne. L'invention a pour objet des procédés pour modifier le procédé de combustion d'un moteur à combustion interne en fonction de l'état de la conduite. De tels procédés ont déjà été proposés mais la situation dans laquelle le bruit de combustion se produit peut varier dans les différents procédés de combustion, et la précision de la détection du bruit de combustion est mauvaise parce que les procédés de détection classiques ne peuvent pas faire la différence entre les procédés de combustion. Le bruit de combustion peut être détecté avec une bonne précision en vérifiant le mode de combustion du moteur à combustion interne et en sélectionnant, sur la base du mode de combustion, la fréquence de détection ou la plage de fréquences de détection d'un détecteur de bruit de combustion servant à détecter le bruit de combustion dans la chambre de combustion d'un moteur à combustion interne pour détecter le bruit de combustion.

内燃機関の燃焼方法を運転状態に応じて変更する方法が提案されているが、異なる燃焼方法においては燃焼騒音の発生状況も自ずと異なってくることが考えられ、従来技術の検出方法では異なる燃焼方法に対応できず燃焼騒音の検出精度が低かった。 内燃機関の燃焼モードを把握し、内燃機関の燃焼室内の燃焼騒音を検出する燃焼騒音センサの検出周波数、或いは検出周波数帯域を燃焼モードに基づいて選択して燃焼騒音を検出することで燃焼騒音が精度よく検出できる。
