A stereoscopic image processing device receives input of a stereoscopic image, calculates a multidimensional statistic relating to disparity for every frame or for each field in the stereoscopic image, calculates the distance between the multidimensional statistics relating to disparity between a specific frame or field and a frame or field adjacent thereto, and outputs an output signal indicating that a scene change has occurred in the case that the distance is equal to or greater than a threshold value.

L'invention porte sur un dispositif de traitement d'image stéréoscopique qui reçoit en entrée une image stéréoscopique, calcule une valeur statistique multidimensionnelle relative à la disparité pour chaque image ou pour chaque trame de l'image stéréoscopique, calcule la distance entre les valeurs statistiques multidimensionnelles relatives à la disparité entre une image ou trame spécifique et une image ou trame adjacente à celle-ci, et délivre un signal de sortie indiquant qu'un changement de scène est survenu dans le cas où la distance est supérieure ou égale à une valeur seuil.

 立体画像処理装置は、立体画像の入力を受けて、該立体画像の各フレーム又はフィールド毎の視差に関する多次元統計量を算出し、特定のフレーム又はフィールド、及びそれに近接するフレーム又はフィールドの前記視差に関する多次元統計量の間の距離を算出し、該距離が閾値以上の場合に、シーンチェンジが発生したことを示す出力信号を出力する。
