Provided is a light- or heat-curable liquid crystal sealant for use in a liquid crystal one-drop fill process, the liquid crystal sealant enabling increased resolution, faster response, lower-voltage driving, and longer service life of liquid crystal display elements due to having extremely low tendency to contaminate liquid crystal, and also having extremely good working efficiency due to having excellent storage stability. This liquid crystal sealant contains (A) a curable resin and (B) a thermosetting agent, wherein component (A) contains (a) a compound having one or more each of an acryloyl group and a methacryloyl group in each molecule thereof.

L'invention porte sur une matière d'étanchéité à cristaux liquides photo- ou thermo-durcissable pour une utilisation dans un procédé de remplissage en une goutte de cristaux liquides, la matière d'étanchéité à cristaux liquides permettant une résolution améliorée, une réponse plus rapide, une commande à plus faible tension et une durée de vie plus longue d'éléments d'affichage à cristaux liquides en raison du fait qu'elle a une tendance extrêmement faible à contaminer les cristaux liquides et également qu'elle a un rendement de travail extrêmement bon en raison du fait qu'elle a une excellente stabilité au stockage. Cette matière d'étanchéité à cristaux liquides contient (A) une résine durcissable et (B) un agent thermodurcissant, le composant (A) contenant (a) un composé ayant un ou plusieurs chacun parmi un groupe acryloyle et un groupe méthacryloyle dans chaque molécule de celui-ci.

 光や熱によって硬化する液晶シール剤であって、低液晶汚染性に極めて優れるため、液晶表示素子の高精細化、高速応答化、低電圧駆動化、長寿命化を可能とし、さらには保存安定性にも優れるため、作業性が非常に良い液晶滴下工法用液晶シール剤を提案する。 本発明の液晶シール剤は、(A)硬化性樹脂及び(B)熱硬化剤を含有する液晶シール剤において、成分(A)中に、(a)一分子中にアクリロイル基及びメタクリロイル基をそれぞれ1つ以上有する化合物を含有する。
