A beam clamp 30 for mounting to a flange 16, 18 of a beam 14 or other support, having a main body 40 and a set screw 42. The main body has an end wall 56, a first side wall 52 and a second side wall 54. The first and second side walls each define a slot 46 having an open end and a closed end. The end wall, the first side wall and the second side wall of the main body are formed by a unitary piece of material having a wall thickness. The main body further includes a first protrusion 82A and a second protrusion 82B that extend unitarily from the end wall. A first threaded opening 80A and a second threaded opening 80B pass through the end wall and a respective one of the first and second threaded openings such that each of the first threaded opening and the second threaded opening define a thread length that is greater than the wall thickness.

L'invention concerne un bride 30 pour poutre, destinée à être montée sur une aile 16, 18 d'une poutre 14 ou d'un autre support, comprenant un corps principal 40 et une vis 42 de pression. Le corps principal présente une paroi terminale 56, une première paroi latérale 52 et une deuxième paroi latérale 54. Les première et deuxième parois latérales définissent chacune une rainure 46 présentant une extrémité ouverte et une extrémité fermée. La paroi terminale, la première paroi latérale et la deuxième paroi latérale du corps principal sont formées par une pièce monobloc de matériau présentant une épaisseur de paroi. Le corps principal comprend en outre une première protubérance 82A et une deuxième protubérance 82B qui s'étendent conjointement à partir de la paroi terminale. Une première ouverture filetée 80A et une deuxième ouverture filetée 80B traversent la paroi terminale et une ouverture respective parmi les première et deuxième ouvertures filetées de telle façon que chacune des première et deuxième ouvertures filetées définisse une longueur de filetage supérieure à l'épaisseur de paroi.
