A method for transmitting Machine to Machine (M2M) ranging information in a wireless communication system is disclosed. The method includes transmitting an Uplink Channel Descriptor (UCD) including an M2M ranging region Type/Length/Value (TLV). When the UCD is transmitted, a ranging region TLV identifying the same region as the M2M ranging region TLV is included in the UCD.

L'invention porte sur un procédé destiné à la transmission d'informations de télémétrie pour la communication entre machines (M2M) dans un système de communication sans fil. Ce procédé consiste à transmettre un descripteur de canal de liaison montante (UCD) comprenant un champ type/longueur/valeur (TLV) de région de télémétrie M2M. Lorsque ledit UCD est transmis, un champ TLV de région de télémétrie identifiant la même région que le champ TLV de région de télémétrie M2M est inclus dans cet UCD.
