Abstract

Provided is a blue phase mode liquid crystal display device capable of being driven by a vertical electric field. The blue phase mode liquid crystal display device comprises: two substrates arranged opposite each other; a light refracting means formed on at least one surface from among the reverse surfaces of the two substrates; two electrodes formed on the opposing surfaces of the two substrates; and a blue phase mode liquid crystal formed between the two electrodes.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides à phase bleue stabilisée par un polymère pouvant être attaqué par un champ électrique vertical. Ledit dispositif comprend : deux substrats disposés à l'opposé l'un de l'autre ; un moyen de réfraction lumineuse formé sur au moins une surface parmi les surfaces envers des deux substrats ; deux électrodes formées sur les surfaces opposées des deux substrats ; et un cristal liquide à phase bleue formé entre les deux électrodes.
