This droplet discharge device, which is provided with a discharge path (12) the tip of which constitutes a discharge opening (11), a plunger (30), a liquid chamber (50) through which a plunger (30) passes, a plunger drive mechanism that moves the plunger (30) forward and back, and a plunger position determining mechanism that determines the position of the tip part of the plunger (30), discharges liquid material in a droplet state by applying inertial force to the liquid material by forward movement of the plunger (30) in a state in which the tip part of the plunger (30) does not contact the inside wall of the liquid chamber (50). This droplet discharge device and droplet discharge method using that device push an amount of the liquid material necessary to form a desired droplet out of the discharge opening (11) by making the plunger (30) move forward and form a droplet of a minute amount by shedding the liquid material pushed out of the discharge opening (11) by making the plunger move back thereafter.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'expulsion de gouttelettes, comportant un passage (12) d'expulsion dont le bout constitue une ouverture (11) d'expulsion, un piston (30), une chambre (50) à liquide à travers laquelle passe un piston (30), un mécanisme d'actionnement du piston qui fait aller et venir le piston (30), et un mécanisme de détermination de la position du piston qui détermine la position de la partie de bout du piston (30). Le dispositif expulse un matériau liquide à l'état de gouttelettes en appliquant une force d'inertie au matériau liquide par un mouvement avançant du piston (30) dans un état où la partie de bout du piston (30) n'est pas en contact avec la paroi intérieure de la chambre (50) à liquide. Le présent dispositif d'expulsion de gouttelettes et le présent procédé d'expulsion de gouttelettes utilisant ledit dispositif chassent une quantité du matériau liquide nécessaire pour former une gouttelette souhaitée hors de l'ouverture (11) d'expulsion en faisant avancer le piston (30) de façon à former une gouttelette d'une quantité minuscule, et libèrent le matériau liquide chassé hors de l'ouverture (11) d'expulsion en ramenant ensuite le piston en arrière.

先端が吐出口(11)を構成する吐出路(12)と、プランジャー(30)と、プランジャー(30)が挿通される液室(50)と、プランジャー(30)を進退動させるプランジャー駆動機構と、プランジャー(30)の先端部の位置を規定するプランジャー位置決定機構とを備え、プランジャー(30)の先端部と液室(50)の内壁が非接触の状態でプランジャー(30)を前進移動することで液材に慣性力を与えて液滴の状態に吐出する液滴吐出装置において、プランジャー(30)を前進移動させることにより所望の液滴を形成するのに必要となる量の液材を吐出口(11)から押し出し、続いてプランジャーを後退移動させることにより吐出口(11)から押し出された液材を分断して微量の液滴を形成する液滴吐出装置および当該装置を用いた液滴吐出方法。
