Abstract:
(EN) Methods and apparatus for reducing impulsive interferences in a signal, without necessarily ascertaining a pitch frequency in the signal, detect onsets of the impulsive interferences by searching a spectrum of high-energy components for large temporal derivatives that are correlated along frequency and extend from a very low frequency up, possibly to about several kHz. The energies of the impulsive interferences are estimated, and these estimates are used to suppress the impulsive interferences. Optionally, techniques are employed to protect desired speech signals from being corrupted as a result of the suppression of the impulsive interferences.
(FR) L'invention concerne des procédés et un appareil pour réduire des interférences impulsionnelles dans un signal, sans nécessairement évaluer une fréquence de pas dans le signal, lesquels détectent des débuts des interférences impulsionnelles par recherche d'un spectre de composantes de grande énergie pour de grandes dérivées temporelles qui sont corrélés à la fréquence et s'étendent à partir d'une fréquence très basse, jusqu'à possiblement environ plusieurs kHz. Les énergies des interférences impulsionnelles sont estimées, et ces estimations sont utilisées pour supprimer les interférences impulsionnelles. Eventuellement, des techniques sont utilisées pour protéger des signaux de parole souhaités contre une corruption suite à la suppression des interférences impulsionnelles.
