The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an oxygen electrode for electrolysis of water, which uses oxide of a base metal; and a method for producing the oxygen electrode. The present invention is an electrode for electrolysis (201) which produces hydrogen by electrolyzing an electrolyte solution. The electrode for electrolysis (201) is characterized by being provided with a conductive substrate (204), a base metal oxide (203) that is formed on the surface of the substrate, and a noble metal (202) that is supported by the surface of the base metal oxide (203). The electrode for electrolysis (201) is also characterized in that the noble metal (202) is composed of one or more substances selected from among Au, Ag and oxides of Au and Ag. This configuration enables the production of an electrode that is obtained by combining a slight amount of a noble metal with oxide of a base metal that is rich in the resource reserve. Consequently, an oxygen electrode for electrolysis of water, which has corrosion resistance and low overvoltage, can be provided regardless of the reserves of resources by this technique.

La présente invention a pour but de proposer : une électrode à oxygène pour l'électrolyse de l'eau, laquelle utilise un oxyde d'un métal de base ; et un procédé de fabrication de l'électrode à oxygène. La présente invention consiste en une électrode pour l'électrolyse (201) qui produit de l'hydrogène par électrolyse d'une solution d'électrolyte. L'électrode pour l'électrolyse (200) est caractérisée comme comportant un substrat conducteur (204), un oxyde de métal de base (203) qui est formé sur la surface du substrat et un métal noble (202) qui est supporté par la surface de l'oxyde de métal de base (203). L'électrode pour l'électrolyse (201) est également caractérisée en ce que le métal noble (202) est composé d'une ou plusieurs substances choisies parmi Au, Ag et les oxydes d'Au et d'Ag. Cette configuration permet la production d'une électrode qui est obtenue par combinaison d'une légère quantité d'un métal noble avec un oxyde d'un métal de base qui est riche en la réserve de ressources. En conséquence, une électrode à oxygène pour l'électrolyse de l'eau, qui présente une résistance à la corrosion et une faible surtension, peut être proposée indépendamment des réserves de ressources par cette technique.

 本発明は、水の電気分解において卑貴金属の酸化物を用いた酸素極及びその作製方法を提供することを目的とする。 本発明は、電解液を電気分解して水素を生成する電気分解用電極201であって、導電性の基材204と、該基材表面上に形成された卑金属酸化物203と、該卑金属酸化物203表面に担持した貴金属202とを備え、前記貴金属202が、Au,Ag及びこれらの酸化物から選択される1種以上であることを特徴とする。この構成により、資源量の多い卑金属の酸化物と微量の貴金属とを組み合わせた電極の作製が可能となり、本手法を用いることで資源量に問題なく、耐食性を有し、さらに過電圧の低い水の電気分解用酸素極を提供できる。
