Abstract
(EN) There is provided a method of aggregating a plurality of beads in a magnetic bead aggregation assay for subsequent analysis comprising: - providing magnetic beads comprising a capture probe for binding with said target analyte; - reacting the magnetic beads with the sample including a target analyte in a reaction chamber aggregating the magnetic beads in the presence of a magnetic field with the target analyte to allow formation of magnetic bead aggregates having physical properties detectable to enable characterisation of the aggregates on an aggregate by aggregate basis using a detector to measure the physical properties of the aggregates. Further provided are a method and system for detecting analytes in a sample by characterising the magnetic bead aggregates on an aggregate by aggregate basis by measuring physical properties of the aggregates.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé d'agrégation d'une pluralité de billes dans un dosage par agrégation de billes magnétiques en vue d'une analyse ultérieure, comportant les étapes consistant à : - mettre en place des billes magnétiques comportant une sonde de capture servant à se lier audit analyte ciblé ; - faire réagir les billes magnétiques avec l'échantillon comprenant un analyte ciblé dans une chambre de réaction agrégeant les billes magnétiques en présence d'un champ magnétique avec l'analyte ciblé pour permettre la formation d'agrégats de billes magnétiques présentant des propriétés physiques détectables pour permettre la caractérisation des agrégats, agrégat par agrégat, en utilisant un détecteur pour mesurer les propriétés physiques des agrégats. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé et un système destinés à détecter des analytes dans un échantillon en caractérisant les agrégats de billes magnétiques, agrégat par agrégat, en mesurant des propriétés physiques des agrégats.
