Abstract

Electrical machines, for example transverse flux, machines and/or conramtated flux machines, may be "balanced" to achieve reduced overall cogging torque via utilization of one or more cogging torque reduction devices. Cogging torque reduction devices may be configured and/or otherwise customized in order to reduce and/or minimize cogging torque in an electrical machine, by generating a counteracting cogging torque waveform that at least partially counteracts and/or cancels the initial cogging torque waveform of the electrical machine.

L'invention porte sur des machines électriques, par exemple des machines à flux transversal et/ou des machines à flux contrarotatif, qui peuvent être « équilibrées » pour atteindre un couple de crantage global réduit par l'utilisation d'un ou plusieurs dispositifs de réduction de couple de crantage. Des dispositifs de réduction de couple de crantage peuvent être configurés et/ou sinon personnalisés afin de réduire et/ou réduire au minimum le couple de crantage dans une machine électrique, par génération d'une forme d'onde de couple de crantage de contrebalancement qui au moins partiellement contrebalance et/ou annule la forme d'onde initiale de couple de crantage de la machine électrique.
