Abstract
(EN)
A volume expansion feature for a fluid reservoir is provided, the volume expansion feature comprising a central recess, a plurality of channels extending from the central recess, where the central recess and the channels are positioned at least in part in a recessed surface profile. The recessed surface profile is reversibly moveable from a first inwardly directed configuration, to a second outwardly directed configuration. The central recess and the channels are configured to impart an inward bias to maintain the recessed surface profile in the first inwardly directed configuration under standard loading of the fluid reservoir. Upon increased pressure within the fluid reservoir, the recessed surface profile extends to the second outwardly directed configuration, thereby increasing the volume of the fluid reservoir.

L'invention porte sur un élément de dilatation de volume pour un réservoir de fluide, l'élément de dilatation de volume comprenant un creux central, une pluralité de canaux s'étendant à partir du creux central, le creux central et les canaux étant positionnés, au moins en partie, dans un profil de surface en creux. Le profil de surface en creux est mobile, de façon réversible, entre une première configuration dirigée vers l'intérieur et une seconde configuration dirigée vers l'extérieur. Le creux central et les canaux sont configurés de façon à communiquer une sollicitation vers l'intérieur de façon à maintenir le profil de surface en creux dans la première configuration dirigée vers l'intérieur sous une charge standard du réservoir de fluide. Lors d'une augmentation de pression à l'intérieur du réservoir de fluide, le profil de surface en creux s'étend vers la seconde configuration dirigée vers l'extérieur, de façon à augmenter ainsi le volume du réservoir de fluide.
