This disclosure provides methods and apparatus for increasing the efficiency of a photovoltaic module. In one aspect, the position of a photovoltaic panel (200) is updated throughout the day based on whether the solar angle of incidence on the panel falls within a cone (204) of at least 10° about a normal (202) of the panel (200). The panel (204) remains stationary when the solar angle of incidence falls within the cone (204), but when the solar angle of incidence falls outside the cone (204), the panel (200) is moved so that the solar angle of incidence falls within the cone (204).

L'invention porte sur des procédés et sur un appareil pour accroître le rendement d'un module photovoltaïque. Dans un aspect, la position d'un panneau photovoltaïque peut être mise à jour tout au long de la journée sur la base du fait que l'angle d'incidence solaire du panneau rentre à l'intérieur d'un cône d'au moins 10° autour d'une normale au panneau.
