Provided by the invention is a capacitive sensor device for approach and/or contact detection, which comprises at least one generator electrode, at least one measurement electrode and at least one calibration electrode, wherein the at least one calibration electrode is arranged in a predefined distance adjacent to the at least one measurement electrode, wherein the at least one measurement electrode and the at least one calibration electrode are assigned to the generator electrode, wherein the at least one generator electrode may be loaded with a generator voltage and the at least one calibration electrode may be loaded with a calibrating voltage, and wherein the at least one calibration electrode at least may be operated in a first operating mode and a second operating mode, wherein - in each of the operating modes the calibrating voltage lies between a ground voltage and the generator voltage, and - the calibrating voltage is different in each operating mode. Further provided are a method for calibrating a capacitive sensor device and a handheld device comprising a capacitive sensor device according to the invention.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif à capteur capacité pour la détection d'une approche et/ou d'un contact. Ledit dispositif comprend au moins une électrode de générateur, au moins une électrode de mesure et au moins une électrode d'étalonnage, la ou les électrodes d'étalonnage étant disposées à une distance prédéfinie de façon adjacente à la ou aux électrodes de mesure, la ou les électrodes de mesure et la ou les électrodes d'étalonnage étant attribuées à l'électrode de générateur, la ou les électrodes de générateur pouvant être chargées avec une tension de générateur et la ou les électrodes d'étalonnage pouvant être chargées avec une tension d'étalonnage, et la ou les électrodes d'étalonnage pouvant au moins fonctionner dans un premier mode de fonctionnement et un second mode de fonctionnement. Dans chacun des modes de fonctionnement, la tension d'étalonnage se trouve entre une tension de mise à la terre et la tension de générateur, et la tension d'étalonnage est différente dans chaque mode de fonctionnement. L'invention concerne en outre un procédé permettant d'étalonner un dispositif à capteur capacitif et un dispositif portatif le comprenant.
