Abstract:
(EN) In order to provide a piston ring with high thermal conductivity, which can be used in the high thermal load environment of an engine, and which has excellent scuff resistance and abrasion resistance, by optimizing ion plating film deposition conditions, the outer periphery of this piston ring is coated with a TiN film at a thickness of 10 to 60 μm such that the (220) plane structural coefficient is 1.1 to 1.8 according to X-ray diffraction measurement of the surface covered by the film, and is greater than the (111) plane structural coefficient and the (200) plane structural coefficient. Furthermore, in order to obtain excellent low friction sliding characteristics without compromising the excellent thermal conductivity of TiN, the TiN coating is further coated with an amorphous hard carbon film.
(FR) Afin de produire un segment de piston ayant une conductivité thermique élevée, qui peut être utilisé dans l'environnement à charge thermique élevée d'un moteur, et qui présente une résistance à l'usure et une résistance à l'abrasion excellentes, par l'optimisation des conditions de dépôt de film de placage ionique, la périphérie extérieure de ce segment de piston est recouverte d'un film de TiN sur une épaisseur de 10 à 60 μm de sorte que le coefficient structural de plan (220) soit compris entre 1,1 et 1,8 en fonction de la mesure de diffraction de rayons X de la surface recouverte du film, et soir supérieur au coefficient structural de plan (111) et au coefficient structural de plan (200). En outre, afin d'obtenir d'excellentes caractéristiques de glissement à faible frottement sans compromettre l'excellente conductivité thermique du TiN, le revêtement de TiN est en outre recouvert d'un film de carbone dur amorphe.
(JA) エンジンの熱負荷の高い環境で使用することが可能な、耐スカッフ性、耐摩耗性に優れた高熱伝導性ピストンリングを提供するため、イオンプレーティング成膜条件を最適化することにより、皮膜の被覆面のX線回折測定における (220)面組織係数が1.1~1.8であり、且つ(111)面組織係数及び(200)面組織係数よりも大きいTiN皮膜をピストンリング外周面に10~60μmの膜厚に被覆する。また、TiNの優れた熱伝導率を損なわずに低フリクションの優れた摺動特性を得るために、TiN皮膜の上にさらに非晶質硬質炭素皮膜を被覆する。
