Abstract:
(EN) In a processing system having a touch screen display, a method of inferring navigational intent by a user in a gestural input system of the processing system is disclosed. A graphical user interface may receive current gestural input data for an application of the processing system from the touch screen display. The graphical user interface may generate an output action based at least in part on an analysis of one or more of the current gestural input data, past gestural input data for the application, and current and past context information of usage of the processing system. The graphical user interface may cause performance of the output action.
(FR) L'invention a trait, dans un système de traitement ayant un écran tactile, à un procédé de déduction des intentions de navigation d'un utilisateur dans un système d'entrée gestuelle dudit système de traitement. Une interface utilisateur graphique peut éventuellement recevoir en provenance de l'écran tactile des données d'entrée gestuelle en cours correspondant à une application du système de traitement. Ladite interface utilisateur graphique peut éventuellement générer une action de sortie basée au moins en partie sur une analyse d'une ou plusieurs des données et informations suivantes : les données d'entrée gestuelle en cours, les données d'entrée gestuelle antérieures correspondant à l'application, et les informations contextuelles en cours et antérieures concernant l'utilisation dudit système de traitement. L'interface utilisateur graphique peut éventuellement être à l'origine de la réalisation de l'action de sortie.
