Abstract:
(EN) For a spark plug having an electrode comprising a coated section and a core section, a gap is prevented form being created between the coated section and the core section. The spark plug has a center electrode and a ground electrode that forms a gap with the center electrode. At least the center electrode or the ground electrode has a coated section and a core section that is covered by the coated section and is made of a material having a different thermal expansion coefficient from that of the coated section. A concave section and a convex section are formed on the apical part of the core section. In a cross-section that extends through the center of gravity of the apical surface of the electrode and extends through the convex sections, the area of the convex section, which extends through the point 0.2mm point from the apex of the convex section in the direction of the bisector of the convex section and is surrounded by a line which is perpendicular to the bisector, is smaller than the area of the triangle that is formed by connecting the apex of the convex section with the intersecting points of the outline of the convex section and the line perpendicular to the bisector.
(FR) La présente invention permet d'éviter la formation d'un espace entre une section de revêtement et une section centrale d'une électrode de bougie d'allumage. La bougie d'allumage comprend une électrode centrale et une électrode de masse qui est espacée de l'électrode centrale. L'électrode centrale et/ou l'électrode de masse comporte une section de revêtement et une section centrale qui est recouverte de la section de revêtement et est constituée d'un matériau ayant un coefficient de dilatation thermique différent de celui de la section de revêtement. Une section concave et une section convexe sont formées sur la partie apicale de la section centrale. Dans une coupe transversale qui passe par le centre de gravité de la surface apicale de l'électrode et par les sections convexes, la zone de la section convexe qui passe par le point à 0,2 mm du sommet de la section convexe dans la direction de la bissectrice de la section convexe et est entourée d'une ligne perpendiculaire à la bissectrice est inférieure à la zone du triangle formé en reliant le sommet de la section convexe aux points d'intersection du tracé de la section convexe et de la ligne perpendiculaire à la bissectrice.
