Abstract:
(EN) A pick-up head system comprises a housing and a main fan connected in air suctioning relation to the housing for causing the interior of the housing to have a reduced internal air pressure. A secondary substantially continuously available source of low air pressure has an inlet connected in air suctioning relation to the housing. A valve is operatively mounted between the housing and the inlet of the source of low air pressure. A control mechanism is operatively connected to the valve and responsive to at least one operational condition in the pick-up head system. In a reduced-flow position, the air pressure in the housing is unaffected by the vacuum tank. In the increased-flow position, when the at least one operational condition passes a threshold, the vacuum tank decreases the air pressure in the housing, thus precluding the escape of dust and other fine particulate matter from the interior of the housing.
(FR) Un système de tête de ramassage comprend un boîtier et un ventilateur principal raccordé en aspiration d'air au boîtier de manière que la pression d'air interne soit réduite. Une source secondaire de faible pression d'air disponible sensiblement en continu possède une entrée raccordée en aspiration d'air au boîtier. Une soupape est montée opératoire entre le boîtier et l'entrée de la source de faible pression d'air. Un mécanisme de commande est raccordé opératoire à la soupape et réagit à au moins une condition de fonctionnement dans le système de tête de ramassage. En position de flux réduit, la pression d'air dans le boîtier n'est pas modifiée par le réservoir à dépression. En position de flux accrû, lorsque la/les conditions de fonctionnement franchissent un seuil, le réservoir à dépression réduit la pression d'air dans le boîtier, ce qui empêche la poussière et les matières particulaires fines de s'échapper de l'intérieur du boîtier.
