Abstract:
(EN) A liquid coolant heatsink apparatus is provided for cooling devices, such as heat dissipating electronic components. The heat sink apparatus comprises a cooling plate having an outer side for mounting of the device and an inner side formed with a plurality of recesses. A sealing assembly, comprising a base plate and a number of baffles is disposed opposite the inner side of the cooling plate to define a space for circulation of the liquid coolant. The baffles include a plurality of projections which correspond to the recesses and project into them to encourage turbulent flow of the liquid against the inner side of the cooling plate. The baffles are retained in position between the cooling plate and the base plate.
(FR) Un appareil à dissipateur thermique utilisant du liquide de refroidissement sert à refroidir des dispositifs, tels que des composants électroniques à dissipation thermique. L'appareil à dissipateur thermique comprend une plaque de refroidissement comprenant un côté externe servant à monter le dispositif et un côté interne présentant une pluralité d'évidements. Un ensemble d'étanchéité comprend une plaque de base et un certain nombre de déflecteurs et il est disposé à l'opposé du côté interne de la plaque de refroidissement pour former un espace destiné à la circulation du liquide de refroidissement. Les déflecteurs comportent une pluralité de protubérances qui correspondent aux évidements et ressortent en saillie dans lesdits évidements pour favoriser l'écoulement turbulent du liquide contre le côté interne de la plaque de refroidissement. Les déflecteurs sont maintenus en position entre la plaque de refroidissement et la plaque de base.
